Need social security card at bankruptcy hearing

You have to show your social security number at your bankruptcy hearing. In Plano, you can use a pay stub, health insurance card, employer card, printout from social security office, medicare card. Most trustees will accept almost anything with a number on it that was not created by the debtor – no tax returns, but W2s ok. Unfortunately for this purpose, most IDs no longer have the social security number. Also a voter registration card.
